A Word From The Coordinator

We’re on the ______ Path

What word came to mind to fill in the blank? Maybe a word such as right, chosen, narrow, or rocky came to mind. Whatever you thought of might give an indication of your level of peace in today’s world.

We are definitely living in some trying times, and our emotions might resemble a roller coaster ride. BUT! Whatever we face each day does not have to weigh so heavily on us. We are given a gift, a “peace of God, which passeth all understanding.” (Philippians 4:7)

The peace of God is a most precious gift and helps keep our hearts and minds from giving up and falling apart when our world is being severely shaken. We are told in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; MY peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do NOT let your hearts be troubled and do NOT be afraid.” (Emphasis added) I enjoy this verse for the assurance of peace it gives. Though storms may rise, may your days be filled with this perfect peace.
