A Word From The Coordinator

Walking Defeated or Victoriously

Say it with me, “I am a woman of God!” Jesus’ life was a perfect example of how we are to live and love. He followed the examples of His Father. We are examples to our children and others around us. This is most obvious when our children start mimicking our behaviors. We are to mimic our Father’s examples.

The summer has just begun, and it seems I’ve had an ample share of changed plans. If I was a child, it might be overlooked if I wanted to throw a big tantrum and scream my frustrations. Rather than walking defeated and beaten down, I choose JOY in all (or maybe to be honest most I’m constantly working on this) circumstances.

I MUST have full faith that my God’s plans for me and His children are plans for good as stated in Jeremiah 29:11 NLT. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

When we are burdened down with the cares of life, it is hard to look for a silver lining in the clouds that are looming over us. May we all choose to walk in peace and faith, victorious in all situations we face daily living and our homeschooling. Remember the words of our Father in Matthew 28:20, “I am with you always.”
