A Word From The Coordinator
Nearing the End
This will be my last official newsletter article as your REACH Coordinator. Though we do still have several events lined up for this school year, I want to take the time now to say that I have enjoyed serving and also helping to ensure things run as smoothly as possible and trying to foresee any possible snags in the future for all REACH members. Serving on the REACH Board as secretary and coordinator has allowed me to appreciate more what all the Board does for its members.
Many times, as parents, we try to think of possible situations our kids may face and try to make those situations as easy and pleasant as possible. That is fairly similar to what being on the Board is like. REACH members are highly regarded, considered, and appreciated by the Board, let me assure you of that.
As I still have 2 kids schooling, I will be in REACH for a while yet, so I'll be seeing you around. I hope the remainder of your school year holds some of the best memories yet to come. Blessings to you all.

Monday, April 3, is our annual Curriculum Share. If you have not attended this event before, click on the calendar post to see more details of what we do. We are so thankful to vendors for being generous with our group. We have not received as many prizes this year as some other years, but we still have approximately 70+ items to give away plus many catalogs and pamphlets to help you in choosing curriculum. Don’t forget to bring some of your own favorite curriculum to “share” with others (more details at link above) and bring any curriculum questions you have.

The school year is quickly coming to a close, and it is time to sign up for Field Day 2023! You can find the links to sign up and see who is attending on the REACH website calendar. There will be a variety of competitions for PreK-12th grade. The games will start at 4:00 on Friday, April 14th. Following the games, we will have a potluck dinner. REACH will provide water, plates, napkins, and plastic silverware. Please bring a dish to share and drinks for your family if you would like something other than water. We will announce the winners of the competitions during/after dinner. The Pre-K group will not be keeping score, and we ask that if you have a preschooler participating that a parent stays with them to help with the chaos. Please dress in accordance with the REACH dress code. You may also want to bring sunscreen, bug spray, lawn chairs, etc.
