A Word From The Coordinator
The school year isn’t over, yet it is time to start planning for next year! What a better way to start than to be at the Curriculum Share meeting tonight. Come take a look at all of the curriculum the mentoring committee has collected through company donations and take home something useful for your family.
I feel like the year should be winding down at this point, but there is still so much to participate in! Field Day is just around the corner; disc golf club and kickball club are going again. Kindergarten and senior graduation are coming up, and more. Please be checking the calendar and watching Monday Reminders so that you stay in the loop. We would love to see everyone get involved and make connections with each other.

Planning for 2024-2025

PSP Day-Parties/Skating/Parks
For those of you who, like me, plan on staying at home to avoid the droves of people during the eclipse, this will be a great time to emerge and enjoy games and fellowship with our group.
We will start with game time and then enjoy a potluck dinner. After dinner, feel free to hang around and let your kids play at the playground while you fellowship with other adults.
Please sign up by April 10th. We look forward to seeing everyone soon. Read more
PSP will provide popsicles and bottled water. Bring outdoor toys like frisbees or a ball and glove. There are lots of trees and the breeze off the lake makes a perfect spot to hammock. Bikes and scooters can even be ridden on the road around the playground (under each parent’s supervision).

Clubs Spring 2024
REACH Clubs are a great way to enjoy creative, educational, or adventurous activities with friends! We had some great clubs this fall! Do you have an idea for a REACH club for this spring semester? Email Lauren Scott at Lauren.Jesusismyjoy@gmail.com to get it started! Have as much of this info in your email as you can: Club Title and brief description, Age limits (if any), Name of club sponsor (person responsible for organization/handling of the club), Contact information for club sponsor, Sign-up process (Google Form, e-mail, text), Location, Times and dates, Student limit (if any), Supplies needed (if any).
The Needy Paws Club will be meeting again this year! Here are the details: First Friday of each month from 10 am-12 pm (through May). All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. An adult from each family will be asked to sign a liability waiver by Needy Paws. Read more

This club is open to students in grades 6-12 (adults may play too). Participants should bring their own discs. A starter set can be purchased for about $20-$30. Some parents will be needed to help oversee groups based on how many players we have. We try to keep the groups small so players can cover more of the course. Respond on the sign-up form accordingly if you as a parent can help one or more weeks. Parents may take younger kids to the nearby playground while older students are participating in disc golf club.
Attention REACH members: Come and join the Kickball Club! The remaining dates this spring are April 26th and May 17th. All you need to bring is a water bottle. There is a park nearby for younger siblings to play. If you have any questions, please contact Misty Lewis 479-858-2881 or Kim Law 479-970-0238.
This ministry club meets at Stella Manor and is for all ages. Students must have an accompanying adult to participate. This is a great opportunity for our kids to gain experience playing, singing and/or reading in front of others, but the greatest experience is being around older people who just need someone to show them love. The residents so enjoy people coming to spend time with them.
Sign up by April 9 if planning to attend the April 12 nursing home ministry club.

Our theme is something round like the earth, something you found outside, something you recycle, or something blue like the ocean. Don't overthink it or put pressure on your student for the theme. It's supposed to be fun and whatever they pick will be great!

They have generously invited us out to their home to learn about their lambs and steal all the lamb love and adorableness. These babies are PRECIOUS. Don't miss out!
